Lionell Coulthurst and Martino Rocco to Play Football at Utica University

On March 4, Frankfort-Schuyler held a celebratory signing for student athletes Lionell Coulthurst and Martino Rocco announcing their acceptance to Utica University to continue their football careers!

Lionell and Martino have left an indelible mark on the Frankfort-Schuyler football program, earning 2024 1st Team All-CNY and 1st Team All-State honors, with Martino also being named NYSSWA Player of the Year. The duo also led the Maroon Knights to their first state championship title last season.

Lionell’s versatility shone brightly. Over his three-year career, he accumulated over 3,000 rushing yards, nearly 2,000 receiving yards, and exceeded 6,700 all-purpose yards. This was complemented by 87 touchdowns, 576 points, and impressive defensive and special teams contributions over his three-year career.

Martino was a powerful dual-threat presence. He racked up over 4,800 rushing yards and 78 rushing touchdowns, alongside over 4,500 passing yards and 56 touchdown passes, while also contributing significantly on defense over his three-year career.

Their exceptional high school careers have now paved the way for them to continue their football journeys together, as they both take their talents to Utica University, bringing their impressive skills to the Pioneers.
