Kindergarten Students Learn About Pumpkins
On October 17, 4-H Education Wendy Richardson of Cornell Cooperative Extension visited the kindergarten classrooms at Frankfort-Schuyler Elementary School to talk about pumpkins and their life cycles. Richardson brought different varieties of pumpkins to show the students and also shared a recipe for making pumpkin pie in a bag. The students helped make the recipe and each got a sample to try, and they also brought home the recipe to share with their families.
