Frankfort-Schuyler Wins State Regional 8-Man Football Championship

Frankfort-Schuyler Wins State Regional 8-Man Football Championship

On Saturday, December 7, Frankfort-Schuyler won their first ever state title in 8-man football with a 70-28 victory against Moravia at the JMA Wireless Dome.

The game was previously scheduled to be played outdoors at Moravia High School at 3pm. Even with the last minute time and venue change, the Maroon Knights couldn't be slowed down.

Seniors Lionell Coulthurst and Martino Rocco each had phenomenal games, as Coulthurst had six total touchdowns, five rushing and one receiving, and Rocco had two passing and two rushing touchdowns of his own. The Maroon Knights offense was nothing short of dominant all season long. The team scored at least 46 points in all 13 of their games, averaging 59 points per game. This game also marked the fourth time this season the team scored 70 or more points.

Congratulations, Maroon Knights!
