Frankfort-Schuyler CSD Celebrates Homecoming
On September 27-28, the Frankfort-Schuyler Central School District held its annual Homecoming celebrations.
Throughout the week leading up to Homecoming, Frankfort-Schuyler Jr./Sr. High School students participated in various spirit week themes that earned them points to be tallied up at the pep assembly, which was held during the school day on September 27. During the pep assembly, all fall athletes were introduced and the senior class and senior athletes were honored. While the seniors won the spirit paddle, the juniors dominated at tug-of-war, beating every class in grades 6-12.
The Homecoming football game was held later that evening against Morrisville-Eaton. Prior to the start of the game, the homecoming court was honored. This year’s court included Martino Rocco, Zoe Dodge, Chase Evans, Tori Cleveland, Danny Palmisano, Ava Werczynski, Lionell Coulthurst and Claire Enea. The homecoming king was Philip Tangorra and the queen was Adna Sasinovic.
After the court was honored, the Frankfort-Schuyler varsity football team went on to defeat Morrisville-Eaton with a score of 46-6.
On September 28, the annual Homecoming Dance was held at the Jr./Sr. high school for students in grades 7-12. Students had a great time dancing, using the photo booth and enjoying the concession stand in the cafeteria.
It was a fun-filled weekend and a great time celebrating the Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights!
