Fourth Grade Students Visit Energy Zone

Fourth Grade Students Visit Energy Zone

On March 7, fourth-grade students from Frankfort-Schuyler Elementary School visited the NY Energy Zone, embarking on a powerful journey through the past, present, and future of electricity and New York State's role in it.

The NY Energy Zone provided students with engaging interactive exhibits and a 3D movie aligned with our Next Generation Learning Standards. The exhibits and activities covered a wide range of topics, from the history of electricity to the future of the grid.

Hands-on experiences included building a bulb, a power plant, and solar and wind installations, as well as operating a control room and "flying" a drone over power lines.
