Utica Comets Bring Message of Kindness to Students

Comets hockey players speaking in the K-Kids Club classroom.

The Frankfort-Schuyler Elementary K-Kids Club received a visit from players with the Utica Comets on Jan. 13, who shared a message focused on kindness and positive character.

The players introduced the COMETS Kindness Message, encouraging students to be caring toward others, offer help to those in need, make others feel valued, encourage and support one another, treat everyone with respect and spread positivity at school and in the community.

Students were highly engaged throughout the presentation, asking thoughtful questions and learning how teamwork, respect and kindness apply not only in hockey, but in everyday life.

The visit concluded with players handing out autograph books, giving students a memorable experience and reinforcing the importance of positive behavior both on and off the ice.
