RAK ‘Em Up: F-S Encourages Kindness with New Initiative

The Frankfort-Schuyler Central School District is excited to introduce a new districtwide RAK ‘Em Up initiative for the 2025-26 school year, celebrating and encouraging Random Acts of Kindness. Through this initiative, which expands upon the District’s Positivity Project and social-emotional learning efforts, the District hopes to inspire positive connections, foster a supportive environment and remind everyone that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference.
Each month will spotlight a unique theme connected to kindness, paired with a guiding quote that encourages everyone to “Lead Like a Knight” by demonstrating compassion, respect and care for others.

- December: Generosity, Giving Back
- January: Resilience, Support
- February: Friendship, Loyalty, Trust

- July: Continued Kindness, Summer Spirit

Each focus area and its accompanying quote is featured throughout the 2025-26 District calendar, serving as an ongoing reminder to Lead Like a Knight all year long.
To kick off this exciting new initiative, Frankfort-Schuyler students and staff each received a RAK ‘Em Up T-shirt featuring the Champ mascot. The shirt represents the school community’s commitment to spreading kindness, building positive relationships and supporting one another through everyday actions. Students can wear them on spirit days, class field trips, while completing Random Acts of Kindness and more.
The District invites families and community members to join in the RAK ’Em Up initiative by modeling and celebrating kindness every day. Together, we can strengthen our school culture and remind everyone that at Frankfort-Schuyler, kindness is at the heart of what it means to be a Knight.
