Pep Assembly Highlights Spirit, Sports and Leadership

On Oct. 17, the Maroon Knights gathered for the fall pep assembly, honoring fall athletes, celebrating senior achievements and showcasing school spirit. Planned by the dedicated Student Council officers, the event brought friendly competition and energy.
Each class earned spirit points through a variety of events. The seniors dominated by sweeping all four spirit days, while the freshmen took first place in the hallway decorating contest with their Bubble Guppies theme. The sophomores led the canned food drive, showcasing their generosity, and the juniors emerged victorious in the layup musical chairs game, adding some competitive fun to the day.
The highlight of the day came with the announcement of the homecoming court and the crowning of the king and queen. To top it all off, the spirit paddle was awarded to the seniors, who earned the most points overall.
It was a proud day to be a Maroon Knight. Thank you to everyone who participated, cheered and brought the energy!
