Free Parent Night Focused on Youth Substance Abuse

Parents and guardians interested in learning more about substance abuse among youth will have the opportunity to do so at a Parent Night event titled "Understanding Youth Substance Abuse," hosted by Catholic Charities of Herkimer County and The Neighborhood Center on October 21. The free event is designed to support families in recognizing the challenges that youth face and provide practical tools for prevention and early intervention.
The event will feature an informal presentation on the signs of substance use and misuse among adolescents, and a mock bedroom exhibit that will offer a hands-on look at common indicators of hidden substance use.
