Frankfort-Schuyler Seniors Celebrate College Athletic Commitments
Several Frankfort-Schuyler seniors, their families and other students and staff gathered at Frankfort-Schuyler Jr./Sr. High School on May 6 to celebrate senior student-athletes who have declared their intent to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level.
A celebratory signing ceremony was held to recognize the graduating seniors who will compete in a variety of collegiate sports following graduation. Several of the seniors were in attendance with their families to commemorate this milestone achievement.
The senior student-athletes and their future plans include:
- Jerome Bowen will attend Utica University and participate in football. (Not pictured below)
- Griffin Bryant will attend Utica University and participate in men’s track and field.
- Sopheakthra “Destiny” Chhom will attend the University at Buffalo and participate in women’s soccer.
- Thomas Eck will attend SUNY Polytechnic Institute and participate in baseball.
- Kerim Ikeljic will attend Mohawk Valley Community College and participate in men’s soccer. (Not pictured below)
- Giavanna Kaleta will attend Mohawk Valley Community College and participate in women’s soccer. (Not pictured below)
- Ahmed Merdanovic will attend Mohawk Valley Community College and participate in men’s track and field. (Not pictured below)
- Isabella Paragi will attend SUNY Polytechnic Institute and participate in softball.
- Madelyne Reid will attend SUNY Morrisville and participate in women’s soccer and women’s basketball.
- Rocco Santomassino will attend Herkimer County Community College and participate in men’s track and field. (Not pictured below)
- Nicholas Service will attend Herkimer County Community College and participate in baseball.
- Thomas Service will attend Mohawk Valley Community College and participate in baseball.
- Evan Teachout will attend Mohawk Valley Community College and participate in men’s track and field. (Not pictured below)
