F-S Junior Receives Student Achievement Award

A Frankfort-Schuyler student was among the seven recipients for the 2026 Student Achievement Awards from the Oneida-Madison-Herkimer Counties School Boards Institute. The awards were presented during a ceremony held at Twin Ponds Golf and Country Club in New York Mills on May 14.
Katherine Figueroa, a junior at Frankfort-Schuyler Jr./Sr. High School, was one of the award recipients.
The Student Achievement Awards are presented to high school juniors who have demonstrated a positive attitude, which reflects initiative, a sense of responsibility and an ability to interact with others, including peers, faculty and the community. Award recipients also have strong character values, perform academically to the best of their ability and may have overcome significant adversity while working toward their career goals.
