F-S Fall Athletic Teams Earn Scholar-Athlete Honors

The Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights had an excellent fall 2025 season not only on the field, but in the classroom as well!
Several Frankfort-Schuyler teams earned the prestigious New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Scholar-Athlete Team award, a true testament to the dedication these students have for both their sports and their studies.
To earn Scholar-Athlete Team honors, the average GPA of the top 75% of the roster must be at least 90. If a team does not meet the team award criteria, individuals on that team with a 90 or above GPA can earn Individual Scholar-Athlete honors.
The students listed below contributed to the team awards.
Girls Varsity Soccer (Team Award)
Charlotte Bick, Destiny Chhom, Alyssa Collins, Hailey DeRocco, Olivia Dodge, Ella Drennen, Leigh Ferguson, Bella Goodhines, AnnMarie Goodson, Jenna Grates, Maryna Harrod, Ella Kaleta, Giavanna Kaleta, Tatum Lawrence, Giana McLean, Isabella Paragi, Madelyne Reid, Vega Rosemyer, Kyleigh Sears, Sanita Selimovic, Addyson Thibault and Cecilia Zennamo. The team was coached by Mr. Robert Harrod.
Varsity Cheerleading (Team Award)
Charlotte Brewer, Jayla Buttacaroli, Kaylee Byma, Abigaile Graves, Julianna Hazeltine, Brynlee Helmer, Cloe Ingraham, Audrey McMurray, Allison Putnam, Milana Rocco, Marianna Rotundo, Lilyann Shank and Emma Viola. The team was coached by Ms. Julia Bovenzi.
Boys Varsity Soccer (Team Award)
Benjamin Aulisi, Nicholas Aulisi, Nicholas Castellano, Jack Giambrone, Michael Giambrone, Luke Harrod, Brayden Kelly, Cullen Kelly, Maxim Kulev, Moises Magana, Joseph Mathlin, Jacob Rafun, Eldin Rizvanovic, Nicholas Russo, Kenan Sasinovic, Michael Shmat and Jalil Smith. The team was coached by Mr. Michael Giambrone.
Varsity Football (Individual Award)
Many students on the varsity football team also earned Individual Scholar-Athlete honors this season, including: Rocco Gaetano, Vincenzo Colicci, Jackson Payne, Thomas Eck, Nicholas Service, Thomas Service, Cameron Mead, Dhomi Mendez and Ryder Evans. The team was coached by Mr. Jeff LaGase.
