Elementary Student Wins Utica Comets Art Contest

Frankfort-Schuyler Elementary School students participated in the 2025–2026 Utica Comets Coloring Contest, sharing their creativity and artistic skills.

Frankfort-Schuyler student Madelyn Gerstner earned first place in the contest. Her winning artwork is currently on display at the Nexus Center.

As part of her award, Madelyn and her family were invited to attend the Utica Comets game against the Syracuse Crunch on Jan. 25. In addition to game tickets, Madelyn received a swag bag, a $20 gift certificate redeemable at local restaurants, a Utica Comets hockey jersey and a ride on the Hot Rod Zamboni.

Congratulations to Madelyn and all students who participated, noting the creativity and dedication demonstrated throughout the contest.
