On June 6, eighth-grade members of the Frankfort-Schuyler chapter of National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) embarked on an exciting trip. Their destination was 5 Wits at Destiny USA in Syracuse.
The group participated in hands-on activities, solving riddles, piecing together clues and working as a team. Their goal was to make their way through real-world adventure-style escape rooms. Students were challenged with quests that incorporated math, science, literature and history.
The students and chaperones had a great time working through the problems presented. It was a memorable send-off for these honor students as they prepare for high school.
