    Hello,

I am thrilled to be starting my first year at Frankfort-Schuyler High School with Resource classes for grades 9-12. While I am new to you and your students, I am not new to teaching (I started in 2006) and I moved to this area in 2016. I come with a certification in Secondary Special Education as well as Social Studies, but am a true generalist and enjoy teaching and learning more about each core subject. Originally I'm from downstate-Goshen, NY in Orange County where the new LegoLand is. After graduating from Smith College, I started teaching in NYC and taking graduate courses at Pace University. After 3 years of city life I moved up the Hudson to teach in Troy and finish my Master's degree at The College of Saint Rose. Finally I moved out "west" to a farm in the Mohawk Valley. Most recently I taught for 5 years in Richfield Springs. I believe I've found my home here at FSCS! When I'm not teaching I'm helping on our family's organic meat and veggie farm out in Jordanville. Also, I love sports and am excited to be teaching at a school with a football team. GO KNIGHTS!

Fun fact: I've substitute taught at FSHS in the exact same classroom that I teach in now!
