Coronavirus Information

  • The New York State Department of Health has been monitoring the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), which was first found in Wuhan, China. New Yorkers are encouraged to remain vigilant and take proper precautions to protect themselves and their families.

At this time, the Center for Disease Control and the New York State Department of Health encourage all citizens to properly wash their hands and to stay home from work/school when they are sick. Using respiratory hygiene and proper hand washing can stop the spread of diseases/viruses.

The District continues to provide hand sanitizers in the classrooms and offices as well as in the hallways. Students and staff continue to be encouraged to follow universal precautions. District custodians have started to report to work on Saturdays to conduct a building wide disinfectant activity. As more information becomes available, we will be sure to share it with you here.
