Grade-Level Implementation

Instructional technology at the elementary level will align to Goal 1 by embedding technology into daily instruction to support foundational skills and engagement.

• Maintain a 1:1 device environment in all classrooms
• Ensure all classrooms are equipped with interactive display technology and instructional tools
• Provide structured opportunities for students to develop keyboarding, word processing, and digital literacy skills
• Integrate project-based and inquiry-driven learning supported by digital tools
• Implement digital citizenship instruction aligned to grade-level expectations

Students will demonstrate the ability to gather, interpret, and present information using digital tools while engaging in collaborative and independent learning experiences.

Support for Goal 3 will include ongoing professional development focused on elementary instructional strategies and technology integration.

Technology integration at the secondary school level will focus on college and career readiness,
advanced coursework, and real-world application.

• Maintain 1:1 device access across all classrooms
• Expand use of digital platforms for communication, collaboration, and assessment
• Support advanced programs such as engineering, technology, and career pathways
• Utilize data systems to monitor student progress and inform instruction
• Increase opportunities for blended and flipped learning environments

Students will use technology to analyze information, solve complex problems, and demonstrate learning through a variety of digital formats.

This work directly supports Goal 1 and is sustained through professional learning outlined in Goal 3.

Technology will be used to ensure equitable access to instruction and support diverse learning
needs.

• Provide assistive technology tools to support reading, writing, and communication
• Utilize text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and other accessibility features
• Ensure students can access assessments and instructional materials digitally
• Expand progress monitoring tools to support IEP development and goal tracking

All students will have access to the same instructional technology used in general education settings, with additional supports as needed to ensure success.

This aligns directly with Goal 1 (instructional use) and Goal 3 (staff capacity to support diverse learners).
