• Resource students need to bring regular education class materials to resource on a daily basis.  Students will receive support in their regular class assignments as well as instructional strategies to address reading, writing, math and organizational needs as identified through their IEP goals.  Progress towards achievement of IEP goals will be reported to parents on a quarterly basis.
I act as the liason with outside service agencies and will assist students and their guardians in identifying those students who qualify for these services.  Students with an IEP or 504 plan may qualify for services provided through ACCES-VR (Office of Adult Career and Continuing Education Services). This is a department within the State Education Department that is designed to identify students who qualify for Post Secondary Education and Employment Assistance.  ACCES-VR counselors work with students to assist them in securing services at the college level or assist them with entry level employment.   I will work with students and parents through the application process and will coordinate with our ACCES-VR representative.  Please contact me if you have any questions about these services.
