Letter to Students & Parents

  • Hello Earth Science Students & Parents,

I hope you are all well and staying safe and healthy during these tough times. I know we will all pull through this and as always stay strong as a Frankfort-Schuyler community.

As for Earth Science no new instruction will be given at this time, but I am including a Review packet that I want all of you to complete before returning to school on April 14th. The review packet covers material we have learned up to last Thursday. I will be collecting the given assignments on Tuesday, April 14th and you will be given a grade for completion of each of the assignments. I have provided a calendar of what to complete each day so you can pace yourself.

For each day you should complete the following:

    1) Read the assigned pages

    2) Complete the assigned questions

    3) Complete the Practice Questions for the New York Regents Exam on the assigned days. If the question has a diagram copy the diagram onto the loose leaf sheet of paper. If it is a graph (for example of topographic map profile) just skip the question.

    4) You will need an ESRT for all of the assignments so I have attached a copy of one in case you don't have your original at home. You can also find them online and print one out.

In addition to posting the review assignments on the school website I am also going to post copies on Google Classroom. In case you never joined the classroom here are the codes for each class:

    1st Period: yiv2qv2

    2nd Period: qteqryf

    5th Period: xkop7e7

    6th Period: x6oqf5s

I have only posted review material until Friday, April 3rd. I will not be giving work over the originally scheduled spring recess April 6th-13th. If you have questions as you work through the assignments please feel free to email me at any point in time. I will be checking my school email a few times a day over the next three weeks.

    My school email is kdelmedico@frankfort-schuyler.org

I am thinking about all of you and please take care.

    Mrs. DelMedico
