Exploring 3 forms of handbuilding through specific assignments.Using different types of clay, experimenting with their unique properties.Learning to glaze by mixing raw materials to produce desired colors and effects.
Grading/Homework Policies
Students are given a specific assignment with a prior example,a time period,difficulties that may be encountered and ways possible to achieve success within the projects parameters.

Students will explore human forms such as the skull, busts, animal replications, and abstract shapes thourhg a variety of materials.

Students will be graded on compostion, accuracy and media expertise.

Students will be given a specific project with a time frame, necessary materials,precceded by a lecture on that particular project.
Drawing & painting 1, 2, 3
Students are given a variety of assignments throughout the year using still lifes, photos, conceptual inspirations to be rendered in wet and dry media.
