Grading/Homework Policies
Students will be graded on quizzes, tests as well as homework.
Homework: I assign homework and will check for completion the next class day. All students start with a 100, and will receive a check for every completed assignment. Any student who does not complete a homework assignment will lose 5 points from the 100 homework grade you started with at the beginning of the quarter.
Quizzes: I will periodically give short quizzes on content area which counts as one grade each toward the overall average.
Tests: Tests will be given on larger areas of content and will count twice toward the overall average.
Milestone Assessments: A Milestone Assessment will be given approximately in November, February, and June, with the NYS Math Assessment given in May.
