absent from school prior to 8:30 AM on the days that he/she is

Please remember to send your child back to school with
a note that explains the absence even though you have called.

The New York State Department of Education has mandated that all schools assess students for growth in each content area. In following that mandate, Frankfort Schuyler will be administering the Terra Nova Pre-Test to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students next week. The 6th grade will test Monday, the 7th on Tuesday, and the 8th grade on Wednesday. The tests will take place the first half of the day. This test covers ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science. Tests for special area classes will be given within the class over the next week. For the 2012-2013 school year, students must be pre and post tested. For the following year, they will only be tested at the end of the school year. Students who are absent will have to make up the test. If you have any questions, please call the main office at 895-7461.
